Knowing the Campus Ministry

Last Aug. 21, 2010 was our trip to Enchanted Kingdom as a requirement in Nasc 3(Physics in everyday Life). That day was Saturday. I have no choice but to stay in the campus during weekends and let myself suffer of not going home. Because of that, I look for church so that I can hear God's word even if I can't go home. I've found CBBC-LB (Christian Bible Baptist Church-Los Banos). Early Sunday morning, I woke up, eat breakfast, took a bath and went to church. There, I met new friends and met some students studying in UPLB. Some are freshmen, some are my batchmate and some are upperclass men. Before the Sunday service ended, one of the youth member approached me and ask me if I am free at 5:30 every Tuesday. I said I am.

Tuesday afternoon, after my PE class, I went to library, the meeting place they have told me. There I met the BYSC or Baptist Youth Sowers for Christ. BYSC is a group of students that serve Christ in all way they can. They conduct bible study, soul winning and other activities to glorify God. The present theme of BYSC is "Knowing the Campus Ministry".

From that day on, I am more inspired because I have brothers and sisters in the campus that I will go with and do the same task---to give back the glory to God.
